K-OAK SCHOOL was opened by Suzanne Oduro, the Daughter–in–law of the late Kwame Oduroe Afriyie Korankye and Victoria Oduroe Nyande on the 3rd of September 2024.

The history dates back to 1989 when VICANDE was established. Opening with just 12 pupils from within the area of Kwadaso–Asuoyeboah.  Today Vicande boasts of over 700 pupils, 41 Teaching and 15 Non – Teaching staff.

K-OAK is named after its founder Kwame Oduroe Afriyie Korankyi. Vicande was named after his devoted wife Victoria Oduroe Nyande. Sadly, Mr. and Mrs. Oduroe passed away in 2009 and 2013 respectively without completing their dream of building another school.

K-OAK was built and completed by their children in loving memory of their parents.
